On 27 January 2017 Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to Japan hosted a concert to mark the 25th Anniversary of the International Recognition of the Republic of Croatia. At the Croatian Embassy in Tokyo Japanese pianist Yoko Nishi performed the works of Liszt, Schumann, Croatian composer Dora Pejačević, Rachmaninoff and Japanese composer Yamada. Yoko Nishii is a renowned Japanese pianist educated in Croatia at the “Ino Mirković“ Academy in Lovran and at the Zagreb Music Academy. She regularly performs both in Japan and Europe. Last year she went on a European tour of 9 concerts while in 2015 she had 11 concerts on different European venues.
